The 'bowls' pavilion on the 'Rec has now been demolished and core samples taken from the ground.  Assuming these are OK, construction of the new building should commence shortly afterwards.....Watch this space !!!

The Parish of Box in the county of Wiltshire covers an area of over 7 square miles and embraces several smaller communities including Ashley, Ditteridge, Kingsdown, Rudloe and Wadswick. It is located about 5 miles east of Bath and 6 miles west of Chippenham. The A4 road from London to Bath & Bristol, passes right through the village.
Much of Box Village and the
surrounding area is a Conservation Area and it falls within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
