BOX
ARCHAEOLOGICAL
& NATURAL HISTORY
SOCIETY

WINTER PROGRAMME 2014

Updated  August 2014

The Society was formed in 1969 following an excavation of the Romano-British structures under the village. Recently it formed KOBRA (Knowledge of Box Roman Archaeology) to correlate all existing knowledge of the Roman ruins in Box.

During the summer we arrange outings to places of interest by car and coach. In September we have a weekend away. Recent weekends have been to Tenby, Chester, Falmouth, Kent and York. In the winter we have talks once a month on a variety of subjects.

The Society aims to foster interest in Archaeology, History and the Natural History of our area.

Please contact Penny Newboult if you have any suggestions for speakers or outings.
