Directions to the Speke Monument |

The monument is situated at the junction of three fields, on a public footpath known as ‘Box Parish footpath number 58‘. |

|
It is best accessed via the Box to Melsham/Devizes Road (A365) which is shown in red on the map. It is about 1 mile from the village of Box. |
|
|
|
The footpath is ‘finger-posted’ (signed), at the road and runs in a northerly direction. (marked in green) |
|
|
|
Parking is difficult at this point and is a fast road, on a bend. Park elsewhere. |
|
|
|
The footpath follows the edge of the field and although not formal in construction, is not too difficult to follow. |
