4 Wood Singles & 2 Wood Singles – Jean Collier
2 Wood Singles – Sue Cooke
Triples - Karen Funnell, Jean Collier & Carol Grenfell

(2 of 11 in the Wiltshire team) - Kara & Bethany Little (aged 14 & 16)

Club members have had a busy season as well as bowling taking an active part in the Box Revels. They again hosted an Invitation Triples event in July with the farthest team travelling from Clevedon, Somerset. The event was won by Alan Richardson, A Watts & P Thomas from Stothert & Pitt, Bath.

Members had a memorable night of bowling with the Box Pantomime Group some of whom are becoming good bowlers after this their 3rd visit.  The night also raised some money Julia’s House, this year’s club charity.

Will are still open until the end of September, so it is not too late to pop in any time the door is open to find out more about us.  A lot of our members have played other sports, and some still do, while others may have joined since retirement and some since leaving the armed forces.

We welcome all comers, whether as an experienced bowler, beginner eager to take up a new challenge, or looking for a new social activity, a great way to stay active at any age.  If you want to find out more ring 01249 715382 or see other contacts on the Box pavilion notice board.
