Although Box could boast of several shops in
the past, the increase in car ownership and greater ease of getting
around has seen the demise of these services to the Parish.
However, the Parish
still has a small number of shops that supply most things, not just the so called essential things in life, but many more besides.
Old fashioned service and a source of information are much valued.
